Ptazeta in the house, how hard it has been for us to keep this secret! She says she’s got a big ego, but that’s normal. This rapper and singer from the Canary Islands has been setting the charts on fire ever since she decided to take her phone, record herself and upload it to Instagram. She is the sensation of the urban music scene, and the millions of plays she has on streaming platforms are nothing compared to the talent she manages.

Does the hit song Mami ring a bell? Well, here we go, Ptazeta is coming to Málaga for Selvatic Fest on 6 September and we don’t want you to miss her.

If you discover music at 16 years old, touring jams all over Barcelona, and from there you discover that particular style that has us all dazzled, how could we not bring her to Selvatic Fest? Her rollazo, mixing reggae, soul and jazz and making it clear in her first album, Contra todo Pronóstico, that her career has only just begun. Come and listen to her in her natural habitat on 6 September!

SARA SOCAS

In 2017, when she was still merely a teenager, rapper Sara Socas (Tegueste, Tenerife; 1997) burst into the ‘testosteronic’ world of MC battles. Since then, she has forged herself worldwide fame and respect in the world of competition by being brave, talented and throwing metaphorical jabs. And if we follow the pugilistic analogy we’ll find that she is indeed a rapper that throws fast, always with one foot in front of the other and always measuring distance with his opponents. Not surprising that she won the Gold Battle BCN 2021, and the Federation Cup Champion’s National Final of the Battle of Masters 2021, was the international runner up of the Red Bull 2019 and won the Girl Battle 2017, as well as the Femm Battle 2018 and the Battle of Azuqueca in 2018.

Since the beginning of her career, Sara Socas has not stopped jumping rope and rapping, but she has left the world of freestyle behind, as well as jab technique in order to look into a bright as promising future where her courage and talent make up the perfect hook to take by KO the world scene of urban music.

JUACKO

Juacko is a music producer and DJ who has always known that a good sound is the basis of a stellar discography. With productions and creations that range from merengue, pop, hip hop or urban music, as well as being in demand for his mixes of electronic rhythms and reggaeton, Juacko is one of the most interesting producers of the urban music scene in the Canary Islands today. Having made his name thanks to Elvis Crespo’s remix of the legendary ‘Suavemente’, Juacko has not stopped growing since then, thanks to his own productions or his successful collaborations with Karen Méndez or his stellar Canarian connection with the great PTAZETA. This year at Selvatic Fest, we will be able to enjoy Ptazeta and Juacko on the same stage.
